About The Position

Gerber Kawasaki is one of the fastest-growing and most influential independent wealth and investment management firms in the country. We are seeking a Tax Associate to support our tax department by preparing tax returns and providing overall tax-related support. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with both clients and management. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow with a well-established, diverse, and expanding company. This role is 100% in-office, 5 days per week

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
BA/BS in Accounting
Experience with Lacerte preferred
Experience preparing and reviewing returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and individuals
Ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tax databases
Experience working collaboratively across teams and departments
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
Demonstrated sense of urgency, commitment, and reliability
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
