As a tax associate, you will prepare and review tax returns, as well as assist in audits, notices, and research. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Mastering prep of level two and level 5 returns
• Developing business writing skills by responding to Federal/State notices
• Becoming familiar with tax research programs and effectively researching basic tax questions.
• Enhancing knowledge of client businesses.
• Developing a general and growing knowledge of firm products and services.
• Assisting in administrative functions.
• Acting as a resource for interns on tax process and basic tax technical questions.
