Position Summary: Your Impact (Essential Duties):

Requirements

  • CPA license or eligible
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Understanding of tax laws and ability to adapt to changes
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and related tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and records
  • Capability to follow procedures and produce high-quality work
  • Full-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
  • Perform quarterly and annual accounting to support tax preparation
  • Review prior returns and documents to identify and address missing information
  • Record tax information with attention to big-picture implications, including related entities
  • Ensure data accuracy and communicate necessary information for tax filings
  • Calculate quarterly and annual estimated tax liabilities accurately
  • Participate in tax planning as experience allows to identify client opportunities
  • Communicate with team members and clients, as directed, to support tax projects
  • Contribute to team efforts and maintain professional development through training
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize engagements
  • Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership
  • Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity
