Entry Level Tax Analyst (Max $25/hr W2)
About The Position
Tax Department of major bank seeks recent Accounting/Finance grads or those working toward completion of such degree within the next 12 months and with strong cumulative GPA to assist the Tax team with the following tasks: - Assist in preparation of various US tax work papers. - Assist in the preparation of various work papers related to deferred taxes - Assist in the preparation of US tax provision work papers, such as tax provision, valuation allowance analysis, tax account reconciliation, etc. - Assist in the preparation with various state jurisdictions? and effective tax rate work papers. - Prepare SOX binder. - Assist managers with ad hoc requests - Various administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge MS Word and MS Excel (including basic formulas such as sumif, vlookup, hlookup along with advanced formulas such as index/match, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.
- Strong communication and organization skills
