Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP, tax preparation software, tax research software, etc.
  • One to two years tax or accounting experience (Internships would qualify for new graduates)
  • Requires understanding of accounting and tax concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Strong analytical thinker, high level of self-motivation and a team player
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud FCCS is a plus
  • Knowledge of OneSource a plus
  • Knowledge of Alteryx a plus
  • Further Education a Plus

Responsibilities

  • Preparation/review of certain federal and state & local income tax returns and payments
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly tax provision calculations
  • Assist with preparation/review of Forms 5471 for controlled foreign corporations
  • Draft initial responses for tax notices and audits
  • Help maintain internal controls and supporting documentation for the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Conduct tax research utilizing RIA, Checkpoint or other tax research tool
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
