About The Position

The Tax Analyst is a vital member of the Tax Department, collaborating closely with the other members of the tax team, accounting teams, and other cross-functional personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Reporting to the Federal Tax Manager, the Tax Analyst will assist in the federal and state income tax compliance process. Responsible for the preparation of federal, state income and franchise tax returns and extensions. Calculate quarterly estimate and extension tax payments. Assists with researching and documenting tax positions and planning matters Compiles data to support audit response and requests for information from taxing authorities Assists with tax technology upgrades and implementations. Prepare quarterly fixed asset reconciliations. Assist with other projects as they arise. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of corporate income tax experience
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software (OneSource preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and GAAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or Master’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software (OneSource preferred)
