We are currently seeking a full-time Tax Accountant to join our Boca Raton, FL tax office. The Tax Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services. This includes preparing individual and business tax returns, conducting client interviews, and providing guidance on a variety of tax matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of three years’ experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Direct experience working with clients and the ability to explain tax and accounting concepts clearly.
• At least one year of experience using UltraTax software
• Familiarity with preparing sales and payroll tax filings.
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented and professional approach.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make accurate, rules-based decisions.
• Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews to understand their financial circumstances and gather necessary documentation.
• Review client-provided financial data for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare tax returns and provide accounting services for individuals and small businesses.
• Research and respond to client inquiries on tax and accounting matters.
• Analyze financial performance and assist with forecasting and budgeting.
• Identify opportunities to assist clients by leveraging the full suite of services offered by the firm.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
