About The Position
This position works closely with the tax manager to ensure federal and state tax compliance for a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). The tax accountant's primary duties are preparation of income tax returns and REIT asset and income tests. This position also researches tax issues necessary to file tax returns correctly and supports the department in periodic work related to maintaining REIT status.
