About the position
Venesco is looking for a Task Manager Master to support the Solution Delivery Division (SDD). The SDD serves as the premier provider of information and technology, simulation, and acquisition program management for the Defense Health Agency. SDD leverages an innovative acquisition culture, acquisition-trained workforce, and a business-oriented mindset that drives continuous rationalization, optimization, cost reduction, and modernization. As a division of the DHA Program Executive Office for Medical Systems, SDD’s Program Management Offices (PMOs) and Branches provide logistical, administrative, and technological applications and support to internal and external DHA and Military Health System stakeholders and customers. In this role, SDD supports the Combatant Commands by supplying robust medical logistical support, lifecycle management, information technology infrastructure, and health delivery applications to provide globally integrated health services.
Responsibilities
- Lead/manage a team of similar size and complexity as a Task Manager.
- Assist with hiring/interviewing candidates with appropriate skills.
- Maintain skillset for supporting legacy products and modernization efforts.
- Ensure tasks meet Organization Mission, Vision, and Strategic goals.
Requirements
- 5-10 years as an active Task Manager.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
