About The Position

SAIC is seeking an experienced Target Analyst Reporter to support a program with direct impact to our country’s national security. This position is located in Fort Meade, MD. The position requires an active/current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.

Requirements

  • 6 years or more experience for TAR1, 9 years for TAR2, 12 years for TAR3, and 15 years for TAR4.
  • Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
  • Education may be used as an equivalency to experience; associate’s degree represents 2 years of experience, bachelor's degree represents 4 years relevant experience, and a master’s degree represents 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to draft and/or edit for release finished serialized SIGINT product reports.
  • Ability to author reports based on simple traffic or a limited amount of traffic.
  • Knowledgeable of various technologies and/or topics to identify analytic vectors.
  • Experienced in the principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process and disseminate SIGINT information.
  • Experienced in the use of software applications and databases associated with SIGINT report writing and target development.
  • Familiar with advanced SIGINT reporting policies, e.g. the use of STI, unusual tearlines, Post Publication actions, RFis, etc.
  • Familiar with SIGINT and collateral report repositories and demonstrates incorporating independent research to enhance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize, assess, evaluate and report information obtained from passive and active collection, network evaluation and analysis.
  • Write reports which may require significant editing.
  • Assist in determining reportability of an activity.
  • Locate reportable information and conduct basic queries.
  • Determine the focus of reports.
  • Familiarize with basic SIGINT reporting policies.
  • Conduct research to enhance reporting ability by pulling information from multiple sources.
  • Combine information into reports/products in response to requests by management and external customers.
  • Receive mentorship and/or significant guidance from Government personnel.
