Requirements

  • At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
  • Fluency in English (Written & Verbal).
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
  • Strong data engineering and development capabilities, including experience with relational (Oracle, MySQL) and non-relational (DynamoDB) databases, and proficiency in Python, Java, and AngularJS.
  • Cloud expertise, particularly in AWS, with a track record of developing applications using AWS native services and working effectively in cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

  • Working with cross-functional teams to create software solutions.
  • Enabling scalable, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) functions in a Cloud environment.
  • Create data diagrams, data mapping and process documentation as needed.
  • Data analytics on Tapeout processing key performance indicators (KPIs), to drive optimized performance of Cloud Tapeout execution.
  • Architecting and developing Python, Angular, Java based software applications in AWS and or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
