Rocky Mountain Youth Corps (RMYC) is a nonprofit youth development organization serving New Mexico. We inspire young adults to make a positive difference in themselves and their communities. Through training and service, Corpsmembers discover their potential for healthy, productive lives. Crew Supervisors are RMYC field-based staff who manage the day-to-day operations of crews of youth and young adults, and are integral to the fulfillment of RMYC’s mission. The Crew Supervisor will manage a diverse crew of participants between the ages of 17 to 30 in the safe and efficient completion of conservation projects outdoors, while providing structured opportunities for personal and professional development throughout this season. Often working under minimal supervision, Crew Supervisors exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters relating to the safety, well-being, and performance of crew members in the field. Crew supervisors are trained, empowered, and expected to enforce RMYC and AmeriCorps policies and expected behavior of Corpsmembers in office and the field. This crew will work on culturally sensitive projects within Taos Pueblo as well as throughout the ancestral territory of Taos Pueblo.
