The Tankwagon Driver is expected to work as a valued member of the Transportation Division. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving hauling. On occasion, the deliveries will be required throughout the region.
Requirements
At least 2 years proven work experience as a truck driver.
Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.).
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
No recent moving or driving violations.
Valid truck driving license.

Responsibilities
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.).
Operate company-owned trucks.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Work closely with Flatbed and Grain dispatch.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Report defects, accidents or violations.
Perform required before-, during- and after-operation 'user maintenance' and provide required reports.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
Advise the Company of any actions/situations that pose a threat to any employee, customer, or guests.
Observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.
