About The Position

Tanker Truck Driver - w/CDL (Pittsburgh Airport) This position is part-time seasonal $28.00 per hour Inland Deicing Services is the world's premier Aircraft Deicing and Airport Environmental Services company. We specializing in removing frozen contamination from aircraft critical surfaces as well as, the recovery of spent deicing fluid, and processing of glycol effluent generated from aircraft deicing. When not engaged in transporting fluid, there will be a requirement to operate our fluid collection and/or processing equipment. This is a part-time seasonal position with flexible hours. Local travel is required with a slim possible chance there could be a long-haul overnight trip based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver’s license is required for this position with clean driver’s record
  • Must possess CDL Class A License
  • Minimum two years’ commercial driving experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to read and interpret written communication and reports
  • Sitting while driving for long periods of time in possible inclement weather
  • Ability to use hands and arms to install, position, move and manipulate items
  • Ability to climb, balance, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and handle materials
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Operate and navigate company-owned or, leased vehicles in excess of four tons including tractor/trailer/tanker, forklift and mechanized equipment
  • Document, record, and track all required log sheets IAW, FMCSA, DOT and Inland Technologies International Ltd. requirements
  • Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and the ability to effectively use maps and direction for efficient travel routing
  • Identify, troubleshoot and service devices, parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles
  • Service truck with fuel, oil and other fluids and perform preventative maintenance to tractor-trailer
