TANKER DELIVERY DRIVER
About The Position
Liquid CFB Conduct daily vehicle inspections before departing to deliver products Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements Load and/or assist in loading products onto trucks according to specifications Deliver orders to customer in a safe, timely, accurate, and appropriate manner Maintain ongoing communication with Delivery Manager Review deliveries to ensure products meet customer needs Unload deliveries at designated location Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Follow all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record Follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product Other duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- TWIC card preferred
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as required
- Successfully pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Pass medical requirements for Class A CDL Driver
- Read, write, and understand the English language
- Present a professional image to our customers through personal appearance and overall branch cleanliness
- Professional and pleasant disposition, able to give all clients a positive customer service experience.
- Dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills required.
- Contribute to a team approach by being versatile, flexible, and having a positive outlook in interactions with co-workers and customers.
- Willing to work extended hours during peak season
- High school graduate or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (preferred)
