About The Position

The Tank Wash Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of tank trailer and ISO cleaning, including inspecting the trailer for residual product, and post-cleaning inspection of the interior/exterior of the trailer. Requirements

  • 1 year's relevant experience
  • Mechanical ability and inclination
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) chemical information
  • Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business related software.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and effectively perform all duties to prepare, clean and inspect tank trailers and ISOs, including but not limited to: vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per normal tank cleaning procedures.
  • Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment used in confined space rescue.
  • Comply with the Company provided literature and training and all existing Federal, State, Local and Company requirements, rules, and regulations that pertain to personal safety in the performance of duties.
  • Complete paperwork for Confined Space Entry, shipping and receiving of cleaned units, and operation of facility software for TW tickets, billing, safety, etc.
  • Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
