Job Summary To refurbish grease tanks by cleaning, painting and repairing them for re-distribution to customer locations.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years shop experience.
Knowledge of metal fabrication, cutting, and welding.
Able to work unsupervised to complete tank repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
Must be able to read and write to understand safety training and maintain work records.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Ability to lead; can give and take direction.
Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.

Responsibilities

Use cleaning equipment and chemicals to prepare tanks for refurbishing.
Perform repairs to grease tanks and lids to make them road ready for raw material customers.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Report any issues to the General Manager about repair problems with the tanks for possible changes to make them safer.
All other duties as assigned.
