About The Position

BHJ USA, LLC. is a leading supplier of fresh/frozen meat blends to both the wet and dry pet food industries. We are seeking a motivated individual to perform a variety of tasks and activities related to waste management and cleaning of tanker trucks that contain processed raw materials for the pet food, pharmaceutical and feed industries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to complete all assigned tasks and shifts as assigned according to production requirements
• Ability to work as a part of a team and treat coworkers with respect
• Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the meat processing industry is desired but not required

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, inspects, cleans and reassembles tank parts including, but not limited to, valves, caps, clamps, pumps and other equipment that is to be cleaned per standard operating procedures.
• Removes and properly disposes of material and material build up from inside tanks using high pressure washing system or other tools.
• Comprehends and verifies the ability to perform confined space entry and rescue.
• Demonstrates the ability to rig up and rid down tankers safely using fall protection.
• Completes required forms or documents.
• Ensures trucks and equipment are safety and securely stored.
• Performs external sanitation of tankers and floors using high pressure hose and other tools to ensure that our equipment and facility is kept clean and hygienic
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE)
• Adhere to attendance guidelines of the company at the assigned location
