About The Position

Requirements

• This will be 40 hours+ during second shift days and evenings, Monday - Saturday work week, including some Sundays
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background screening
• Must be able to stand for long hours
• Marine or Industrial paint experience required
• Power tool experience is desired
• Will be working with grinders, drills, and other power and hand tools
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. easily, on your own

Responsibilities

• Cleans up recovery from sand blasting areas, and general cleaning duties
• Ability to diagnose problems with vac equipment
• Must be able to correctly 'blow down' tanks; must be able to use 3 inch vacuum hose and hook up vacuum lines correctly and efficiently
• Often required to walk on staging in dim, dusty conditions
• Must be able to use 100-PSI air line in a safe manner
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment
• Position performs routine physical labor; moving materials, tools, and/or equipment; cleaning equipment, machinery, and work areas
• May be required to perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor for completion of the job in a safe and timely manner
