About The Position

CWS is seeking a highly motivated Talent Support Coordinator who is capable of supporting a technical recruiting and HR team in our Fairview Heights, IL location. The candidate will aid recruiting, HR leadership, and program management in a growing government contract business. The Talent Support Coordinator role will be responsible for assisting in a number of HR and recruiting processes and procedures while serving as a resource to our incoming employees as well as our standing workforce.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Flexible, willing to take on more responsibilities as needed, and devote time necessary to complete deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Applicant Tracking System and/or HR Information System (ADP) experience is a huge plus.
  • HR related certifications or desire to obtain is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new candidate document management: o Security Clearance authorization requests o Interview guides o Signed offer letters o Pre-Employment Checklists
  • Manage and maintain background check process ensuring each incoming employee has successfully completed a background check.
  • Conduct any required reference checks on potential hires.
  • Order and manage any necessary drug screenings for current or new employees.
  • Complete all employment verifications: o Background employment screening services o Government clearance investigation checks
  • Surge recruiting support: o Assist in posting and maintain job opportunities o Gain an understanding of job descriptions and requirements in order to source qualified candidates. o Screen candidates to determine viability for open roles.
  • Complete I9 verifications for new employees.
  • Support onboarding presentations welcoming new hires to the organization.
  • Assistance with creating and uploading position descriptions to ensure advertisements meet requirements.
  • Refreshing job advertisements by posting positions to recruiting networks, job sites, and social media.
  • Schedule candidate interviews on request.
  • Reach out to pending hires, send welcome packages, keep candidates engaged, maintain communications between applicants between offer acceptance and start.
  • Other duties as assigned.
