About The Position

SUMMARY: Coordinates technical recruiting and temporary selection processes. Success measures include retention, time to fill, average days open, and depth metrics as determined by Talent Based Organization strategies. Acts as point person to support operational staffing in the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Completes all internal/external postings and transfer requests for technical positions (includes the tracking of applications, applicant status, selection decisions, and communications of status). Initial screening, interviewing, and placement of candidates for technical positions. Ensure the timely completion of reference/background checks, appropriate physical(s), and drug screens. Provides talent coaching. Continuous improvement of the technical selection process to optimize the assessment of fit, talent, and skill. Includes the development, use and improvement of all necessary tools and team-based interviewing program. Coordinates selection decisions with selection managers/teams through team-based interviewing. Works closely with the On-boarding team to ensure new selections are on-boarded correctly. Creates, maintains, improves and communicates all applicable employment reporting including – turnover tracking, internal fill rate, technical time to fill, and applicant flow. Work alongside the Talent Manager, Learning and Development and internal customers to identify internal candidates for new positions and leadership development. Primary lead for all inquiries related to organizations’ Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Works closely with internal Communication Team to develop the people brand for recruiting programs and internal people promotions. Lead and coordinates the company’s Flexible Work Options program within the organization Internships (both internally and externally) Temporary Workforce Primary lead and contact for recruiting activities at High Schools, Colleges/Universities and local events. Lead internal scholarship programs, such as our current program for Maintenance Technicians. Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals. Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities. Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected. Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in field similar to recruitment, employee engagement, selection, sales, administration, or project management.
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Demonstrated large group presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Very strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer centric attitude with a positive/optimistic attitude.
  • Relationships based approach to managing work.

Nice To Haves

  • Human resources degree, PHR or SPHR certification, and 3 years’ experience with a variety of selection assessments.
