About The Position

Aston Carter is partnering with a dynamic organization to hire a Talent Sourcer for an exciting contract opportunity! If you’re passionate about finding great talent, building pipelines, and partnering closely with recruiters and hiring leaders, this role offers hands‑on exposure to strategic sourcing in a collaborative environment. About the Role As a Talent Sourcer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the organization’s workforce by identifying, engaging, and qualifying top talent. You’ll partner closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists to support hiring needs across the business while contributing to a diverse and high‑quality candidate pipeline. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, and working in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or corporate recruiting.
  • Exposure to full‑cycle recruiting, with hands‑on sourcing experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a metrics‑driven or high‑volume environment.
  • Assertive, proactive, and detail‑oriented approach to sourcing and candidate engagement.
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and general HR systems is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • PHR or SHRM‑CP certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR or recruiting-related role.
  • Prior experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or sales highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Strong project management, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and develop sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Create and post job openings while actively reviewing resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Source talent using a variety of methods, including Boolean searches, job boards, networking, referrals, and social platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, etc.).
  • Engage and build relationships with both active and passive candidates through outreach, networking, and cold calling.
  • Screen and qualify candidates for required skills and competencies; schedule phone screens with Talent Acquisition Specialists for top matches.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Track candidate activity and sourcing metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Support additional recruiting and HR‑related projects as assigned.
