About The Position

The Talent Management Professional, Store Operations refines, delivers, and continuously improves talent and performance programs that support Wawa’s Store Operations workforce. This role translates business and workforce needs into scalable talent solutions that enhance leader capability, strengthen internal pipelines, and reinforce Wawa’s culture. Serving as a subject‑matter expert in systems, performance practices, and data integrity, the Professional collaborates with PTBPs, COEs, and Operations leaders to drive a consistent, insights‑driven approach to developing operational talent.

Responsibilities

  • Refine enhance, and administer Store Operations talent and performance programs that reinforce Wawa’s Values, leadership expectations, and operational excellence.
  • Translate business and workforce needs into scalable talent solutions, creating tools, guidance, and processes that strengthen Store Operations leadership pipelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement of talent systems and processes, streamlining workflows and integrating best practices to improve adoption and user experience.
  • Partner with PTBPs, Operations leaders, and COE teams to implement talent initiatives that advance capability, readiness, and long‑range workforce priorities.
  • Generate, analyze, and synthesize talent insights to support workforce planning, decision‑making, and performance/succession outcomes.
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of competency models, skill architectures, and success profiles that reflect Store Operations capability requirements.
  • Benchmark internal and external practices to introduce innovative approaches to performance, succession, and talent acceleration in Store Operations.
  • Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of Store talent system workflows and forms to ensure seamless execution of performance and succession cycles.
  • Conduct ongoing audits and data‑quality reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and readiness for talent reviews and operational decisions.
