About The Position

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner (6-month contract) to join our fully remote Canadian team, with the potential to extend. Reporting to the Manager, Talent (Marisa), you’ll be a driver of our hiring momentum — owning searches end-to-end and helping us bring exceptional talent into KOHO during an exciting phase of our growth, our journey to getting a bank license. You’ll partner closely with leaders across tech, product, data, marketing, finance, and user success to move roles forward with pace, clarity, and strong judgment. This role is ideal for someone who loves the thrill of the close, gets real energy from building strong pipelines, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, standout candidate experiences that reflect who we are as a company.

Requirements

  • You bring 2–4 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a fast-moving tech or fintech environment.
  • You’re a trusted partner to hiring managers, known for clear communication, sound judgment, and strong ownership.
  • You balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, equally comfortable designing creative hiring approaches and getting into the weeds sourcing and assessing talent.
  • You’re highly organized and deeply candidate-centric, with a track record of running smooth, high-quality hiring processes.
  • You’re curious and forward-thinking, excited to experiment with AI tools and new ways of working to improve outcomes.
  • You’re adaptable and team-oriented, open to flexing into broader People initiatives such as employer brand, connection moments, and cross-functional projects as priorities evolve.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll own full-cycle recruitment across a diverse set of roles, driving searches forward with structure, urgency, and a strong focus on quality.
  • You’ll partner deeply with hiring managers to shape hiring strategies, align on what great looks like, and bring market insight that enables confident, timely decisions.
  • You’ll proactively build and nurture high-quality talent pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and KOHO’s longer-term growth.
  • You’ll deliver a seamless, high-touch candidate experience — ensuring every interaction feels timely, human, and reflective of our culture.
  • You’ll leverage AI-driven recruiting tools and modern sourcing approaches to strengthen funnel health, improve efficiency, and increase hiring predictability.
