About The Position

The Talent Partner will collaborate with academic leadership and the university's hiring committee to identify faculty needs and source top talent. This role involves strategic recruitment efforts, managing applicant processes, and facilitating interviews to ensure the best candidate selection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years of experience in human resources or higher education
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with academic leadership and hiring committee to determine faculty needs.
  • Develop and maintain contacts for recruitment purposes.
  • Participate in recruitment events and determine advertising venues for open positions.
  • Write and edit recruitment advertisements.
  • Manage applicants and postings in PageUp system.
  • Screen and forward incoming resumes to the hiring committee.
  • Make interview requests for candidates.
  • Coordinate on-campus visits with candidates and staff.
  • Facilitate and participate in candidate interviews.
  • Work with the credentials coordinator to ensure candidate credentials are viable.
  • Evaluate candidates to make the best selection.
  • Prepare salary estimates for approval.
  • Extend formal offers of employment.
  • Complete reference checks and maintain applicant files.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
