About The Position

The Talent & Organizational Development Lead at AAM is responsible for ensuring that talent and learning strategies align with the company's vision and mission. This role involves leading the development and implementation of organizational effectiveness capabilities through change management, organizational design, and training. The individual will provide consulting services to management to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve the existing organizational climate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5+ years of experience leading training/OD initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Automotive experience.
• Prior experience managing an apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Study accomplishments and failures in learning and organizational development (OD) by conducting surveys and leading focus groups.
• Analyze organization structures, jobs, and relationships to evaluate the effect of change initiatives.
• Create and manage project plans for learning and OD initiatives.
• Recommend and implement new policies, procedures, job supports, training, and communication methods to improve learning and OD performance.
• Consult with managers to explore opportunities, clarify problems, analyze alternatives, and provide recommendations.
• Facilitate the implementation of talent management and organization development initiatives.
• Assist management in monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating organizational effectiveness.
