About The Position

The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for the completion of regional talent management programs and processes, which include talent development, performance management, organizational development and employee engagement. In addition, the Specialist will act as a first line contact on various Human Resource related topics or situations encountered within the region and assist with employee departures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR OR talent management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree, required, Human Resources or related field, preferred.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of human resource management and talent management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others of all levels.
  • Passion for a talent mindset and driving performance.
  • Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving.
  • Committed to creating & searching for new and innovative approaches to activities that enhance performance.
  • Ability to see the 'big picture' and understand how individual activities and tasks fit in to overall programs and initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an administrator of HCM System, Workday, to input and track data for Talent Management related items.
  • Facilitates talent review activities.
  • Assists in the administration of talent management programs and systems according to defined strategy and plan, including the creation and delivery of key deliverables, reports, communications, learning materials, and other support resources.
  • Meets regularly with Managers to discuss various talent initiatives and updates occurring within the region.
  • Supports administration of routine internal promotions and appointments.
  • Assists with talent planning and performance management.
  • Collaborates with team to develop communication and change management plans in support of organizational development.
  • Assists with the tracking and reporting of Talent Management KPIs.
  • Responds to employee inquiries to assist with their questions.
  • Provides guidance to Managers on HR and employment law best practices.
  • Partners with Managers on pre-termination discussions and planning for employee exits.
  • Provides representation during termination meetings and assists the exiting employee with their offboarding.
  • Partners with Company Leave Concierge when an employee from your region needs to take a leave of absence.
  • Works proactively and collaboratively to resolve issues with a conscious leadership mind-set.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.
