About The Position

The Human Resources professional will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Supply Chain organization at Wayfair. This position focuses on enhancing employee welfare, promoting inclusion, and driving professional growth while ensuring compliance with employment laws. The HR professional will serve as a key resource for stakeholders, guiding them through HR policies and procedures, and facilitating the employee life-cycle.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Generalist role or similar experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Technical experience with HRIS systems like Workday, ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Google Suite, and analytical platforms like Visier.
  • Ability to build productive relationships and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and problem-solve unique HR issues.
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data related to HR functions.
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule to support dynamic business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in state & federal Labor Law and Employee Compliance.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive department-specific projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain agility and prioritize workflow to adapt to various projects and responsibilities.
  • Support employee relations and investigations; participate in employee engagement activities.
  • Partner with the Center of Excellence to resolve complex Leaves of Absence issues and support Employee Resource Groups.
  • Conduct training on people's principles and cultural norms/expectations.
  • Support organizational design and structural changes for consistency.
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of Employee Records using HRIS systems.
  • Evaluate new-hire onboarding processes to enhance the experience.
  • Assist with performance management activities and compensation modifications.
  • Communicate strategy and rollout of benefits programs, including annual open enrollment.
  • Partner with Workforce Management and payroll to resolve attendance and scheduling issues.
  • Engage in Talent programming that impacts the business.
