About The Position

Xanterra Travel Collection is looking for a Hiring & Recruiting Specialist to join our team! This position is based out of our Xanterra Corporate Office located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The Talent Hiring & Recruiting Specialist is a versatile position responsible for planning, coordination, recruitment, and onboarding of several departments and recruiting programs with the Yellowstone National Park location. This position will work across different functions and levels of management/HR to successfully provide unique opportunities for candidates to Live, Work, and Explore in one of the most beautiful places on earth. This position also works with our seasonal recruiters to ensure our high standards for providing an exceptional candidate experience and accurate process flow are achieved. Requirements

  • One to two years of previous experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition.
  • In-depth knowledge of Yellowstone National Park and Xanterra Parks & Resorts organizational structure, policies and procedure strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn Applicant Tracking systems.
  • Prior experience with iCIMS specific products preferred.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well with a diverse team.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient with HRIS (Lawson) and applicant tracking system (iCIMS).
  • Understand basic statistical evaluation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee information.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with advertising and media operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end to end recruitment process for assigned departments.
  • Supervise application review and routing procedures for all new, returning, and transfer employee applications.
  • Ensure consistency and fairness in the review process.
  • Champions the referral tracking program.
  • Works with Christian ministries students for proper placement.
  • Assists with developing relationships with local placement offices and job services.
  • Assists with recruitment and planning of our spring and fall Helping Hands program.
  • Assists with the coordination and execution of recruiting events.
  • Maintains accurate records of expenses following company guidelines.
  • Maintains positive and productive working relationships within the HR department.
  • Assists with employee check-ins.
  • Assists with the Internship Program as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
