With direction from supervisor, the Talent Development Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative support and coordination of various Talent Management Special Programs and practices to meet business and HR objectives. This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

  • Assist the Talent Development Specialist in support of the overall Talent Development Strategy
  • Support coordination for the regional programs using enterprise program guidelines.
  • Provide welcome information, coordinate local events/guest speakers and produce event calendar, be a resource and guide to support the program experience at Bechtel
  • Handle all logistics for our Emerging Talent Programs including Early Career Hires (ECH) Program, Interns Program, Special Forces Cohort (SFCP) Program, RISE (Re-entry into STEM Employment), or any other future initiatives.
  • Send reminders, invitations etc. Finalize Information Sessions (facilitators, room, equipment, materials, etc., for in-person delivery when possible)
  • Schedule workshop offerings in the Learning Management System (LMS), coordinate local course offerings and provide onsite support during class time, promote employee course registration, and update the LMS with course completions, and other learning and user data
  • Develop and host in-person, where possible, a Social Learning Calendar for programming
  • Plan graduation ceremonies & qualification/chartership attainment (schedule room, identify presenters, invite participants)
  • Provide administrative functions for all assessment and development tools utilized by the Talent Management team for Special Programs in all Emergent Talent initiative.
  • Requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience
  • Associate degree or related technical training preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot and use creative problem-solving in a fast-paced, virtual/learning environment
  • Ability to adjust quickly and effectively to changing priorities and deadlines and provide timely responses to our customers
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible and organized to work in a fast-paced team-based environment.
  • Contributing team member who is willing to step in to support critical department deadlines as required.
  • Intermediate proficiency working in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
