Requirements

  • Previous experience in Human Resources and/or the hospitality industry is required, with hospitality experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SmartRecruiters or similar talent acquisition systems is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field from a recognized university or college is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to build meaningful connections across all levels of the organization.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and reliability.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to remain composed, adaptable, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player who is passionate about creating a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic Talent & Culture team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with established hiring standards and procedures.
  • Plan and participate in recruitment initiatives, including career fairs, campus outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Manage job postings, conduct initial screening interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Ensure completion of employment verifications and background checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork and orientation sessions.
  • Lead and conduct training sessions in both in-person and virtual formats.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Support internal communication efforts to enhance engagement and transparency across the hotel.
  • Organize and support colleague engagement events, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Actively participate in the hotel's colleague committee.
  • Provide HR support to enhance workforce well-being and address colleague inquiries.
  • Attend departmental stand-ups and meetings as needed.
  • Deliver professional, engaging, and courteous service while maintaining a thorough understanding of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Talent & Culture department.
