About The Position

The University of Florida's Talent Acquisition & Onboarding office is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and engaging talent acquisition professional to join the Strategic Talent Group (STG), the University's internal executive search team. The STG is dedicated to service excellence in developing talent acquisition strategies, networking, and engaging top talent to fill key leadership positions within the university. The role of a Talent Consultant is pivotal in creating competitive recruitment strategies and identifying passive candidates in a highly competitive executive talent market. Talent Consultants work collaboratively with a team of experts during full-cycle searches and consultative meetings, ensuring that the university attracts the best talent available. In this position, you will be responsible for providing full-cycle talent acquisition services for executive and hard-to-fill roles. This includes utilizing creative strategies for sourcing passive candidates, creating evaluation criteria, scheduling interviews, managing search logistics, and hosting in-person interviews. You will coach and guide hiring authorities, search chairs, panels, and committees on best practices in recruiting and hiring. Additionally, you will develop talent pipelines through proactive relationship building and networking, create training documents and resources, and facilitate training on best practices in hiring. The Strategic Talent Group values diversity of thought, skills, experiences, and talent. As champions of best practices in sourcing, recruiting, selection, and hiring, the team is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all members feel respected and empowered. The Talent Consultant position allows for a hybrid remote work schedule, providing flexibility that benefits both the organization and its employees. The role also involves engaging with talent platforms, supporting campus partners with search-related tasks, and leading broader Talent Acquisition & Onboarding strategic programs or initiatives that advance the use of best practices to attract top talent for the UF Community. You will also facilitate information sessions, attend events, and coordinate activities to enhance the University of Florida's visibility as an employer of choice.
