As a THR Summer Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience, work on meaningful projects, and help shape the employee experience at a mission-driven foundation. You’ll be part of a team that values authenticity, mutual accountability, and ongoing development, all while advancing Kresge’s vision to promote human progress. The Internship runs from June 9th to August 21st, 2026.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Business Administration, HR, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Creative thinkers who are comfortable using technology and social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
  • Students interested in how AI can transform Talent and Human Resources.
  • Strong communicators who enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
  • Individuals who are eager to learn, take initiative, and bring fresh perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on best practices and alumni programs, contributing to real organizational improvements.
  • Assist with internal branding and communications, using your creativity and social media savvy to engage employees.
  • Develop AI resources to support manager and employee engagement Talent and Human Resources processes.
  • Take ownership of special projects that align with your interests and career goals.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals who are committed to your growth and learning.

Benefits

  • A pay rate of $30/hour for Graduate students
  • A pay rate of $25/hour for undergraduate students
  • Housing stipend of $350 per month
  • Volunteer opportunity or group activity.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily for a minimal charge from our Troy, MI cafeteria
