About The Position

The Talent Agent will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing live performance opportunities for artists across multiple markets, with a focus on driving revenue through touring, festivals, and special events. This role requires strong industry relationships, deal-making expertise, and the ability to strategically build and grow an artist’s live business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in talent booking, agency representation, or live entertainment
  • Proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue in live events or touring
  • Strong network of promoters, venues, buyers, and artist management teams
  • Deep understanding of tour economics, ticketing, and live event operations
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sales orientation
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Superior organizational skills; ability to multi-task, collaborate, and prioritize
  • Must have strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; strong attention to detail
  • Must be a strong team player, with a consistent professional demeanor and the ability to deal with all types of individuals
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source, pitch, and secure booking opportunities across concerts, theaters, arenas, festivals, private events, corporate shows, and international markets
  • Generate consistent deal flow through outbound sales efforts, inbound inquiries, and strategic partnerships
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, tracking deals from initial pitch through execution and settlement
  • Negotiate all aspects of live performance deals including guarantees, splits, bonuses, backend participation, buyouts, and expense structures
  • Structure creative deal models including co-promotes, risk-sharing partnerships, multi-show deals, residencies, and touring packages
  • Evaluate financial viability of offers in collaboration with operations teams to ensure profitability
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned artists, managers, and partners, maintaining strong and consistent relationships
  • Develop and execute long-term touring strategies aligned with artist release cycles, growth objectives, and market demand
  • Advise artists and management on pricing strategy, positioning, and touring cadence to maximize revenue and brand growth
  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand artist presence into new markets across the U.S., Latin America, and international territories
  • Build and optimize tour routing to maximize profitability, minimize costs, and ensure efficient logistics
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and fan demographics to inform routing, pricing, and booking decisions
  • Collaborate with marketing and ticketing teams to align tour strategies with promotional campaigns and on-sale timing
  • Continuously monitor ticket sales performance and adjust strategies in real time to optimize outcomes
  • Package tours, events, and festival opportunities by combining artists to create scalable and marketable offerings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters, venue operators, talent buyers, and agents across key markets
  • Actively network within the live entertainment industry to expand business opportunities and partnerships
  • Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and conferences
  • Work closely with internal marketing, production, ticketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Provide accurate and timely deal information for contracting, budgeting, and settlement processes
  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams on contracts, compliance, visas, tax requirements, and other operational considerations
  • Support and oversee aspects of event settlement and post-show financial reconciliation as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of deals, pipeline activity, and revenue projections
  • Track and report on booking performance, revenue generation, and market insights
  • Use data and analytics to refine pricing strategies, improve deal structures, and optimize future bookings
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging talent to proactively identify new opportunities
