About The Position
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the human resources team as the sole recruiter for all hourly positions, focusing primarily on skilled trades. This role involves spending 75-80% of the time sorting through Indeed responses, communicating with candidates, conducting phone screens, and scheduling in-person interviews with hiring managers. Responsibilities also include tracking onboarding processes and completing new hire orientations. The specialist must coordinate schedules with various hiring managers and supervisors, ensuring alignment with team needs. They will evaluate both technical and soft skills to ensure candidates fit the company culture. The remaining 20-25% of their time will be dedicated to supporting the human resources team by pulling records and performing other tasks as needed, requiring a high level of confidentiality.
