About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods. The Talent Acquisition Specialist oversees the administrative recruiting processes, conducts applicant background and drug screenings, and manages the dispositioning of candidates and employees in the applicant tracking system

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is requiered.
  • Two to three years of prior job-related experience is requiered.
  • Recruiting experience required.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment law/regulations and general principles and practices of human resources required.
  • Occasional travel is requiered.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the work of the recruiting team to assure that processes and procedures are consistent.
  • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, relocation, non-complete agreements).
  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
  • Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Assist with managing the applicant tracking system (ATS), provide support and training to supervisors and manager when necessary, and manage the flow of candidates.
  • Assist with ensuring assigned personnel action forms (PAFs) and staff requisition paperwork are completed and processed.
  • Respond to employee and outside inquiries regarding pre-screening processes, employee onboarding, transfers, job ads, and credential verifications.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting processes.
  • Provide suggestions and feedback on HR processes for improved efficiency.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, standards, or regulations.
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
  • Become be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
