About The Position

Our 100% employee-owned, national, and multi-disciplined team of nearly 500 engineering and design professionals has an exciting opportunity available for a Talent Acquisition Specialist! As a member of our HR team, you will influence and directly impact the growth and evolution of TKDA by leading the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned requisitions, participating in workforce planning and forecasting to outline talent acquisition plans and establish a tailored talent network that aligns with current operations and strategic objectives, promoting student and early professional opportunities during campus engagement activities and events, contributing to the development of recruitment marketing campaigns, championing an engaging candidate journey from first touch through onboarding, and more. For this opportunity, we are seeking candidates who reside within a regular commuting distance of our Bloomington, MN location. While this position requires a consistent in-office presence, hybrid (3-2) work arrangements are available. Occasional local and/or overnight travel will be required to attend campus events as well as conduct on-site interviews and general visits at regional office locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Five to ten years of experience leading full-cycle recruiting for technical and nontechnical positions.
  • Prior experience building and nurturing a passive and targeted talent network of entry to senior-level technical professionals.
  • Proven success utilizing traditional sourcing methods and executing innovative talent engagement and acquisition strategies.
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism combined with an ability adjust readily to ambiguity and changing prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • High proficiency of LinkedIn Recruiter and MS Teams; Strong proficiency of ATS and HRIS platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience sourcing architecture and engineering talent.
  • Prior experience sourcing talent on a regional or national level.
  • Prior experience regularly evaluating and optimizing the functionality of ATS / HRIS platforms.
