About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Clover Park Technical College is responsible for managing the recruitment process for various staff and faculty positions. This role involves evaluating requisition requests, advertising positions, building diverse applicant pools, and coordinating hiring committees. The specialist will implement recruitment strategies to maintain a diverse workforce and manage the automated recruitment system, ensuring effective training and technology enhancements. This position requires in-office work five days a week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Two years of recruitment experience in higher education or five years of general recruitment experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current competitive recruitment strategies.
• Experience delivering presentations to groups.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage recruitment strategies to establish and maintain a diverse workforce.
• Manage the automated recruitment system NeoGov or similar, including end user training and technology enhancements.
• Develop recruiting strategies in partnership with Deans and AVP-EDI to build qualified, diverse applicant pools for adjunct faculty positions.
• Provide support and service to stakeholders including job applicants, HR staff, administrators, and employees.
• Promote open positions through social media and coordinate with Marketing for advertising.
• Screen applications for qualifications and schedule hiring committee meetings, trainings, and interviews.
• Create offer letters and run background checks for permanent staff.
• Produce weekly staffing reports and schedule interviews and committee meetings.
• Build retention strategies for all employment groups, focusing on adjunct faculty.
• Develop partnerships with colleges, universities, and agencies, and build relationships with community resources.
