About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at American Capital Group is responsible for managing the recruitment process for various positions within the company. This role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process. The specialist will also maintain candidate records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, all while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting/talent acquisition required.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple positions simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Positive outlook and collaborative team approach.
  • Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and attract candidates using job boards, social media, job fairs, and networking.
  • Understand the Company's pre-employment assessment test procedure and assist candidates in completing assessments.
  • Review resumes, screen candidates, and conduct interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Inform job applicants on next steps in the recruitment process.
  • Prepare and deliver interview packets for interviewers in a timely manner.
  • Build relationships with candidates and provide timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create/update job descriptions.
  • Post job ads on ATS and various platforms to reach a wide audience.
  • Assist in negotiating offers, including salary and benefits.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in the ATS.
  • Send recruiting report updates to hiring managers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor practices to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure all recruitment processes comply with labor laws and company policies.
  • Perform administrative work, including mailing, filing, and overall assistance with HR functions.
