About The Position

Holtec International is seeking an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist II to support company-wide recruiting efforts across engineering, manufacturing, and professional functions. The Specialist II level represents a mid-tier recruiting professional capable of independently managing full-cycle hiring processes, providing consultative support to hiring managers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition function. This position requires a balance of hands-on recruiting expertise, data-driven decision-making, and proactive sourcing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, a high level of professionalism, and a passion for identifying and attracting top talent who align with Holtec’s mission to drive innovation and excellence in clean energy and manufacturing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of progressive experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success filling positions across technical, professional, and corporate roles.
  • Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and digital sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence and guide hiring teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple requisitions simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in engineering, manufacturing, or nuclear energy sectors.
  • Exposure to employer branding and recruitment marketing.
  • Familiarity with SAP, ADP, or other enterprise-level ATS systems.
  • Analytical skills in tracking, reporting, and interpreting recruiting performance metrics.
  • Exposure to international recruitment or visa sponsorship processes for specialized roles.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, job requirements, and recruitment strategies for assigned departments.
  • Execute all stages of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offer approvals.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill positions to ensure workforce readiness.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels — including online platforms, professional networks, and referrals — to identify high-quality talent.
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to hiring leaders regarding talent availability, compensation trends, and sourcing challenges.
  • Support workforce planning discussions by forecasting hiring demand and identifying potential skill gaps.
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience through responsive communication, transparency, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate conversion rates to drive efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and refining standardized recruiting processes, templates, and documentation to ensure consistency across business units.
  • Represent Holtec International at career fairs, industry conferences, and community events to promote the company’s employer brand.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition III and Sr. Specialist levels to support high-volume or strategic hiring initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR and Talent projects that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
