About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports full-cycle recruiting activities with a focus on sourcing, screening, and hiring technical talent within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  This role is responsible for building candidate pipelines for critical roles such as equipment technicians, control technicians, vision systems technicians, facility technicians, and other skilled positions. The role partners closely with hiring managers, technical teams, and external talent sources to ensure timely hiring while maintaining compliance, accurate documentation, and a high-quality candidate experience.  This position operates in a multicultural environment and utilizes multiple recruiting platforms and systems to support workforce growth.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition
  • Strong sourcing capability and ability to identify candidates through multiple channels
  • Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Handshake
  • Experience working in or supporting a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and tracking
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Ability to work within HRIS/ATS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Understanding of recruiting compliance, documentation requirements, and candidate tracking best practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural work environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to sit or remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and office equipment
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and move within office and operational areas
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and move typical office materials and recruiting materials (e.g., signage, displays, materials for events)
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during recruiting events, career fairs, and onsite hiring activities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • HR certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent are preferred
  • Experience supporting hiring in manufacturing, technical, or high-volume environments preferred
  • Experience recruiting engineers and other technical roles within military recruiting environments, or sourcing from military communities, transitioning service members, or veteran hiring programs preferred
  • Internship or early-career experience in recruiting, HR, or staffing will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies for technical and production-related roles
  • Source candidates using multiple platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Handshake, and other channels
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical roles, including outreach to military bases, technical schools, and workforce programs
  • Screen candidates to assess qualifications, technical experience, and alignment with role requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring an efficient and positive candidate experience
  • Conduct structured interviews and provide candidate evaluations and recommendations to hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within ADP Workforce Now and other recruiting systems, including interview notes and disposition tracking
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with company policies, EEOC guidelines, and applicable employment laws
  • Track recruiting activity and metrics using Excel and internal reporting tools
  • Support job description development and updates to align with business needs and market conditions
  • Build relationships with external partners including staffing agencies, schools, and community organizations
  • Assist with recruiting events, hiring events, and workforce outreach initiatives
  • Support onboarding coordination as needed to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and strategies
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
