About The Position

As a Recruiting Intern, you will play a critical role in helping grow our talent pipeline by focusing on LinkedIn networking, outreach to passive candidates, and supporting the recruiting team throughout the hiring process. You will assist with scheduling, candidate communications, and administrative tasks while gaining hands-on experience in corporate recruiting and talent acquisition strategies.

Requirements

  • Currently studying Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Previous sales, customer service, or networking experience preferred.
  • Excellent communicator; outgoing, personable, and approachable.
  • Availability to work 20-40 hours per week throughout the summer.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning recruiting tools/ATS

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain LinkedIn connections with potential candidates and professional networks.
  • Identify and reach out to passive candidates for open roles through LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
  • Assist in crafting personalized messaging to engage potential candidates.
  • Track outreach efforts and responses to ensure follow-up and engagement.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating logistics for candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates.
  • Conduct initial resume screenings to identify qualified candidates.
  • Support recruiters in posting job openings on LinkedIn, job boards, and company career pages.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with recruitment materials, such as job descriptions, interview questions, and evaluation forms.
  • Support pre-employment background checks and other onboarding processes.
