Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Contract)

Insurcomm RestorationPortsmouth, NH
1d

About The Position

Insurcomm is in active Greenfield expansion—opening new markets, standing up branch operations, and building the teams that make it all work. This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility of extension focused exclusively on that effort. You will own full-cycle recruiting for field technician and branch leadership roles across new and emerging markets, working directly with the VP of Human Resources and operational hiring managers. You will be sourcing in markets where Insurcomm has no footprint yet—building pipelines from scratch, reaching skilled trades talent before the competition does, and helping us show up as a credible employer in communities where we are brand new. This is not a transactional role. It requires someone who can build structure where none exists and keep multiple searches moving without close oversight. If you are energized by a clear scope, a defined timeline, and the satisfaction of closing hard roles in new markets, this is the right engagement.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong track record filling field, skilled trades, or operations roles
  • Demonstrated ability to build sourcing pipelines in new or unfamiliar markets with limited brand recognition
  • Comfortable managing 10–20 open requisitions across multiple locations simultaneously
  • Proficient with an ATS platform, Workable a plus or equivalent sourcing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to represent Insurcomm credibly with candidates and hiring managers alike
  • Self-directed and organized—this role operates with significant autonomy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in restoration, construction, facilities management, or property services strongly preferred
  • Contract or project-based recruiting experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment process for field technician and branch leadership roles across Greenfield markets, from intake through offer
  • Partner with the VP of HR and hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and market-specific sourcing strategies
  • Manage candidate pipelines across multiple open requisitions simultaneously, maintaining clear communication and consistent follow-through
  • Conduct structured screening interviews and deliver candidate assessments with clear hiring recommendations
  • Build talent pipelines in new markets where Insurcomm has no established brand presence, using job boards, LinkedIn, trade networks, and local sourcing channels
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill field roles including Water Mitigation Technicians, Restoration Technicians, and Project Managers
  • Identify and engage passive candidates in the restoration, construction, and property services trades
  • Leverage industry-specific communities, trade associations, and vocational networks to reach qualified field talent
  • Maintain a consistent, professional candidate experience that reflects the Insurcomm brand from first contact through onboarding handoff
  • Provide hiring managers with regular pipeline updates, market feedback, and realistic timelines based on local talent availability
  • Draft and refine job postings that speak clearly to field and operational candidates—plain language, specific expectations, honest about the work
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, debrief facilitation, and offer communication with minimal friction
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition tracking in our applicant tracking system
  • Track key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline conversion rates
  • Flag bottlenecks early and surface recommendations to improve hiring velocity as expansion scales
