About The Position

As a Recruiter on our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and attracting top talent for our Risk & Trading organization, a high-impact group responsible for pricing, odds, trading operations, modeling, and risk management across FanDuel’s products. You will own the full recruiting lifecycle from end to end: sourcing and assessing talent, building strong pipelines of both active and passive candidates, guiding hiring managers through the process, and maintaining a competitive close rate. Your ability to understand the technical and specialized needs of Risk & Trading will be essential, while also being nimble enough to pivot into other hiring areas across the business. You will partner closely with leaders and hiring managers to influence talent decisions through market insight, structured processes, data-driven recommendations, and strong communication. Key components of the role include proactive sourcing, employer branding, developing job specifications, interview strategy, and final candidate selection that ensures strong long-term fit. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment, including managing multiple high-volume searches simultaneously while delivering high-quality work.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience executing the full recruitment lifecycle (lead generation, stakeholder management, candidate assessment, closing).
  • Strong sourcing skills and proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Gem; ability to build and sustain passive talent pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, especially when partnering with technical or specialized functions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills with the capability to navigate complex hiring scenarios.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to pivot between functions as business needs evolve.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and data-driven recruiting practices.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with urgency, solutions-oriented, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire recruitment lifecycle for a range of positions, with an initial focus on Risk & Trading roles while remaining flexible to support hiring needs across the broader organization.
  • Build domain knowledge of Risk & Trading functions and become a trusted hiring partner to leaders.
  • Work cross functionally with other areas of HR to understand organizational design and role functions
  • Act as strategic advisor to hiring managers in guiding them on talent market insights, recruiting strategy, process optimization, and candidate selection.
  • Proactively source and engage passive and active talent through creative strategies, networking, and market research.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by elevating FanDuel’s employment brand and candidate value proposition.
  • Foster a positive and transparent candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Leverage systems, tools, and process discipline to track pipelines, monitor performance metrics, and share insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with HR and business leaders to anticipate talent challenges and create thoughtful, impactful solutions.
  • Influence hiring decisions through data, structured feedback, and clear communication to ensure strong alignment with FanDuel’s hiring strategy.
  • Ensure timely collection of interview evaluations and orchestrate all next steps in the process with precision.
  • Apply a data-driven approach to pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all assigned requisitions across functional areas, even outside of Risk & Trading.
  • Structure and present competitive offer packages in partnership with the Compensation team.
  • Structure new offers and work with compensation team to determine appropriate offer packages
  • Build and manage external relationships with local and national organizations, clubs, and other networks
