About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter - Entry Level at Hartford HealthCare is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition Department by identifying and attracting top candidates for support service roles. This role involves high volume, full cycle recruitment activities, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The recruiter will also handle various administrative tasks related to the recruitment process and report to the Director of Talent Acquisition, Administrative Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, or related field required.
  • 1 year of recruiting experience working for a search firm or in-house Talent Acquisition Team, or related experience within a college internship required.
  • Prior experience sourcing candidates via social media and resume databases, cold calling candidates, and conducting Boolean Searches preferred.
  • Experience working with Taleo or other applicant tracking systems (ATS) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates expert competency in attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a professional presentation.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive.
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to change.
  • Collaborative decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and function under stressful situations and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in a healthcare recruitment environment.
  • Familiarity with various recruitment tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle recruitment including screening and identifying qualified candidates in an applicant tracking system (ATS - Taleo).
  • Coordinate interviews and extend offers to candidates.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new hires.
  • Attend various recruitment functions and champion open houses and networking events.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to optimize the applicant tracking system and existing search tools.
  • Seek innovation and best practices in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Handle special projects as assigned by the recruitment team or management.
  • Travel to various local sites and career events as needed.
