Job Description Talent Acquisition Partner Mountain View, CA or Rancho Cordova, CA As a Recruiter at Teledyne Microwave Solutions, you play a key role in shaping the future of our engineering and technical teams. You will be the strategic partner who ensures we bring in the right talent to support long‑term innovation across our business units. You work closely with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and site leadership to understand workforce needs, strengthen our recruiting processes, and elevate our employer brand. In this role, you directly impact our ability to scale, compete, and deliver excellence to our customers. This position is starting as a 6 month contract role.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills – required
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities – required
  • Skilled in sourcing strategies for niche or hard‑to‑fill roles – required
  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques and candidate assessment – required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience – required
  • 3+ years full‑cycle recruiting experience in technical or engineering environments – required
  • Must be a U.S. Person for access to ITAR‑controlled information – required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday Recruiting or similar applicant tracking systems – preferred
  • Experience in aerospace, federal contracting, or high‑tech manufacturing – preferred
  • Experience with employer branding or university recruiting programs – preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment for engineering, technical, and specialized roles.
  • Build and execute sourcing strategies to attract niche engineering experts.
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess technical capability and long‑term fit.
  • Facilitate hiring manager intake meetings and guide selection best practices.
  • Maintain strong candidate communication for an exceptional hiring experience.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and proactive talent pipelines.
  • Provide market insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence.
  • Represent TMS at conferences, university events, and career fairs.
  • Support internship and early‑career programs.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting dashboards and weekly updates in Workday.
