About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a critical role in the organization’s success by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for senior, specialized, and hard‑to‑fill roles. Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, this role partners closely with executives, department heads, and HR stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with business goals. This role is highly goal‑oriented and metrics‑driven. Success is measured through clear hiring outcomes such as time‑to‑fill, quality of hire, hiring manager satisfaction, candidate experience, and pipeline health. The Talent Acquisition Partner is motivated by results and brings discipline to how hiring is planned, tracked, and delivered—using systems, data, and consistent processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Operating in a dynamic labour market, this role requires strong judgment, market insight, and a consultative mindset, balanced with operational excellence and a strong command of recruitment systems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in full‑cycle talent acquisition, including senior‑level or specialized hiring
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions
  • Strong sourcing capability and comfort recruiting in competitive talent markets
  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions (e.g., corporate, technical, operational, or professional roles)
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and selection methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Experience working with ATS and recruitment technologies

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead end‑to‑end recruitment for senior‑level, specialized, and high‑impact roles across multiple portfolios
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders by providing guidance on workforce planning, talent availability, role design, and hiring strategies
  • Use market intelligence, data, and trend analysis to influence hiring decisions and challenge assumptions
  • Plan, organize, and execute recruitment projects to meet hiring goals efficiently and within established timelines
  • Solve complex recruitment challenges, including sourcing hard‑to‑fill roles, navigating competitive markets, and managing candidate negotiations
  • Apply sound judgment and decisive problem‑solving in fast-moving or ambiguous hiring scenarios
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers, executives, and HR partners
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure recruitment strategies are aligned with business priorities
  • Lead structured intake meetings and establish clear, consistent, and equitable assessment processes
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, referrals, networking, market mapping, and digital channels
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging sourcing techniques to maintain a strong talent pipeline
  • Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to strengthen the organization’s presence in the market
  • Deliver an exceptional, inclusive candidate experience from first contact through offer and onboarding
  • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into sourcing, assessment, and selection practices
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior recruiters or broader TA team members
  • Support the development of a high‑performing, scalable talent acquisition function
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, introducing innovative sourcing approaches and leveraging technology to increase efficiency
  • Use ATS data and recruitment metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
  • Engage with recruitment technologies, automation tools, and AI‑driven solutions where applicable
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors, ensuring quality delivery and cost effectiveness
  • Support offer strategy and negotiations in partnership with HR and compensation teams
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment legislation, internal policies, and governance standards
