About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Partner II at Cleco is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting activities for select positions, focusing on building diverse talent networks and enhancing brand awareness in the external talent community. This role serves as a talent acquisition advisor, collaborating with management to ensure satisfaction with recruitment processes and outcomes, while developing long-term recruiting strategies to create a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organizational design, or related field
  • 1-5+ years of related experience
  • Understanding of full life cycle recruitment processes
  • Understanding of current competitive talent landscape
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite or related software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in effective interviewing
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Ability to follow through on assignments to get required outcome
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Create an informed, consultative Talent Acquisition Strategy based on targeted research, industry/market, and candidate data
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company internally and externally with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
  • Identify, attract, engage, and secure top talent through a variety of methods such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and professional networks to build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline
  • Partner with management and HR business partners to determine current and future talent acquisition needs
  • Develop and maintain University and Technical College relationships with key contacts to develop a recruiting strategy to build a robust, diverse talent pipeline
  • Coordinate and manage the internship program, CLTCC scholarship and Cleco Foundation scholarship process, maintaining communication with past interns and scholarship recipients regarding new job opportunities
  • Work with talent manager on vendor management of RPO provider
  • Take ownership of the candidate experience by designing and managing job postings and selecting behavioral-based interview questions that reflect each position's requirements
  • Participate in panel interviews for manager and above roles, as needed
  • Adhere, guide, and educate hiring managers on Talent Acquisition process and all applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Determine and evaluate key talent acquisition metrics and KPIs that measure and assess hiring practices and processes supporting company strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate monthly and ad hoc reporting out of Workday including KPI metrics, hiring surveys and talent scorecard
  • Continually research best recruiting and sourcing trends and best practices, providing insightful recommendations around opportunities for potential improvements
  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates; manage respective candidate pipelines to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
