About The Position

AGI is a global food-based infrastructure company publicly traded in Canada. With over 3,800 employees and over 30 global manufacturing brands, AGI is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agricultural commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities. The AGI Talent Acquisition (TA) Partners manage the recruitment life-cycle for all external and internal hires and drive talent pipelines. In partnership with HR and Business Leadership, this position will develop an understanding of the area's workforce planning needs and build talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire exceptional talent for all positions. This position may be assigned additional talent project initiatives or provide support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ten years of relevant talent acquisition experience.
  • Global talent acquisition support experience with multiple locations.
  • Proven experience as a consultative, innovative problem-solver in talent acquisition or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commitment and desire to build business acumen and engage the business.
  • Proficiency in navigating high-volume requisitions and managing competing priorities with urgency.
  • Process-oriented with experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and other recruiting platforms, UKG experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full life cycle recruitment, including sourcing strategy development, determination of screen criteria, execution of screening, identification, coordination of marketing campaigns, interviewing, and collaboration with HR and the Hiring Manager through offer completion.
  • Maintain communication with the candidate, business leadership, and others to perform these tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop individualized sourcing strategies for the markets supported and execute appropriately.
  • Acquire industry knowledge and competitive market data and use the information to drive potential changes to ensure market alignment with exceptional talent.
  • Develop business acumen, learn what we do, who we are, and how we deliver to our shareholders.
  • Ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company priorities.
  • Utilize and leverage the company's ATS, UKG, to better support recruitment efforts and the onboarding experience.
  • Complete pre-employment checks as required for the position.
  • Support HR and the candidates through the onboarding process as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
