About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Manager for Supply Chain at AutoZone is responsible for leading the recruiting process to attract, assess, and select top talent for distribution centers and supply chain operations. This role involves collaborating with leadership to identify talent needs, developing effective sourcing strategies, and building a high-performance recruiting team focused on metrics and standard processes to ensure quality hires.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience required, including experience managing a team.
  • 2+ years of high volume/warehouse/distribution center recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with DC and Supply Chain HR and management to develop staffing strategies that drive quality hires.
  • Lead staffing meetings with stakeholders and report results to leadership.
  • Track and report results weekly, period, and quarterly, focusing on KPIs, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor standard recruiting processes to ensure systems are optimized.
  • Use key performance indicators to manage the recruiting function and create a results-oriented team.
  • Continually assess recruitment performance and find ways to handle hard-to-fill positions.
  • Develop high-volume and niche recruiting strategies to support critical/underperforming markets and field growth initiatives.
  • Create toolkits and training to help distribution centers assess and hire talent, focusing on applicants with CDL, hydraulic mechanical, warehouse, and PIE experience.
  • Stay up to date on best practices and trends, conducting regular competitor analysis and presenting findings to the Leadership team.
  • Partner with business leadership teams to evaluate current and future capacity needs and implement strategic plans.
  • Implement successful marketing campaigns to generate desired leads.
  • Develop and execute employment branding strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting including candidate sourcing, interview management, offer, and onboarding.
  • Lead a team of recruiters filling Supply Chain roles in distribution centers and the SSC.
  • Oversee the hiring cycle to ensure a great experience for all candidates and hiring teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships and outreach programs, maintaining contacts within community groups, vendors, and trade groups.
  • Promote a diverse candidate pool through effective sourcing and outreach strategies.
